Here’s the scoop. Backed by decades of scientific research, kibble proves to be the simplest and safest way to ensure your dog is getting a balanced diet. It’s cost-effective, easy to store with low risk of spoilage, and can help promote healthier teeth and gums. You know your dog best, but we unanimously decided that kibble was the kind of food we wanted to both make and feed our dogs. As it turns out, every nutritionist and industry expert that we consulted also feeds their own dogs kibble.

Our kibble was manufactured and formulated by a team of over 20 animal nutritionists and vets from Europe. At Bare, we believe in simple, honest, and nutritious pet food. We’re here to bring transparency to an industry plagued with misleading practices. Our goal is to prioritize the health and well-being of pets by delivering innovative products with the highest quality of nutrition. We’re a modern brand, empowering pet parents through honest education and making premium pet care accessible.
Does bare meet AAFCO guidelines?
At Bare Pets, we’re proud to say that our products meet or exceed AAFCO guidelines. This ensures that our pet food is nutritionally balanced and suitable for pets, providing them with the essential nutrients they need to thrive. AAFCO stands for the Association of American Feed Control Officials. They establish guidelines and regulations for pet food manufacturing.
What is an all life stages recipe?
All life stages recipes can be fed through any stages of a dog’s life. At bare pets, we only formulate recipes for the specific life stages of pets. All life stages dog food may not provide optimal nutrition for adult dogs as it follows parameters that don’t cater to more specific life stage requirements.
What is the difference between adult formula and all life stages formula?
Adult formula dog food is designed to meet the nutritional needs of adult dogs, while all life stages dog food is formulated for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs. Adult formula dog food typically has lower levels of protein and fat than all life stages dog food. This is because adult dogs do not need as much protein and fat as puppies and senior dogs. Catering to what your best friend needs instead of a one-sized fits all approach may be better for your furry friend.
Will my dog need to transition to your kibble?
Yes, it’s recommended to transition your dog to a new kibble. A gradual transition over 5-10 days is recommended, gradually incorporating more of the new food while reducing the old food. You can read more about this on any of our product pages.
