As the Business Development Executive at Bare Pets, you will identify growth opportunities, manage key client relationships, and develop strategic partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies that will lead to long-term value creation, not just for BarePets but also for our valued partners.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about building connections and driving business success.

 

Key Responsibility

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with new and existing partners.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to improve future strategies and approaches.
  • Represent Bare Pets at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand our market presence.
  • To stay ahead of the curve, maintain an in-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and product offerings.

Competencies (Experience)

  • 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the pet care, FMCG, or retail industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tracking tools.
  • Passion for pets and commitment to the pet care industry is a plus.

Essential Requirements

  • Poor communication and leadership skills.

 

CANDIDATE PREFERENCE:

  • Based in the Asia or willing to relocate.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and channel management.
  • Fluent in both English (other local languages are a plus) for effective communication across channels.

  • 60% on developing and managing sales channels.
  • 40% on strategy planning and market analysis.
  • 5% on team leadership and development.
  • 5% on partner and stakeholder engagement.

KPIs:

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and surpass set revenue targets by driving sales across all channels (retail, eTail, B2B).
  • Channel Expansion: Successfully identify, introduce, and establish Bare Pets in new markets and retail channels, both offline and online.
  • Client and Partner Acquisition: Increase the number of strategic partnerships and long-term clients, focusing on quality and high-growth potential.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Enhance collaboration across internal teams, particularly in sales and marketing, to drive a unified approach toward business development.
  • Market Penetration: Drive market share growth in key markets and explore opportunities in new regions or countries, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Customer & Partner Satisfaction: Maintain or improve high satisfaction and loyalty among clients, partners, and distributors, ensuring repeat business and positive feedback.
  • Product Expansion: Assist in identifying and driving opportunities for product range expansions in existing and new channels.
